This isn’t just to Indians fans who feel jilted after getting their hearts ripped out, yet again, with no hope on the horizon, this is going out to EVERY beleaguered frachise from coast to coast.  From Pittsburgh to San Diego.  From Florida to Baltimore.  WE DON’T HAVE TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!

Enough is enough from these greed, self-serving, ass-cocked owners who sit in their private luxury boxes on the few days they choose to grace our respective cities with their glorious presence.  If we form a united front, an unbreaking front, we can beat these assholes and force changes for the better.

Sick of your team trading away your best player for prospects who will likely never see the light of day?  Sick of reading stories in Forbes about the most profitable baseball teams and seeing your team that finished 30 games under .500 near the top?  Sick of false promises and unfulfilled potential?

WELL FUCKING STOP.

If we all band together, and don’t fucking give in, these owners will have to react…

Grady Sizemore

If you’re a fan of the movie “The Natural”, you’re probably also aware that the movie was based on a novel of the same name. The novel was written by Bernard Malamud and was published in 1952 (/jmorris). Perhaps you’ve even read it. It’s certainly possible that you’re one of those people who prefers movies that are based on books instead of the other way around. Unfortunately for myself, I’ve never read it. I’ve always wanted to, but for whatever reason I never got around to it. Even without reading it though, I’ve always known that the book doesn’t have the same Hollywood happy ending. I think the ending of the novel has Roy striking out to end the game, causing Cassandra’s career to be ruined, and then a fire starts in Roy’s basement while he carries a dying Pop Fischer to safety and screams “why, God? why?” Or something like that.
