After two days of waiting with open arms, the World Series is finally upon us. Tonight is the first time in the storied history of the Tampa Bay Rays that they will play in the World Series. It’s the night all their fans have been longing for. In the National League, the Phillies are playing in their first World Series since 1993 (/science). The fans in Philadelphia are ready to riot and it really doesn’t matter the result of the Series. Even if they don’t win, they’ll still have that championship they won last year.
