Major League Jerk

Major League Jerk is dedicated to providing reactionary opinions about baseball from 9 argumentative people who have an opinion on everything. Sometimes we’ll include stats that are cherry picked and represent only the facts that we want you to see. We come from all across the country so, don’t worry, we hate each other’s teams as much as we hate your team.  For reference, here’s our contributor batting order.

Here at Major League Jerk you’ll find a bunch of baseball loving fans that like to discuss everything from spit tobacco to the stupidity of batting Corey Patterson lead-off. If you agree with us, feel free to join in on the conversation in the comment section. If you think we’ve left out an important aspect from our argument or disagree with our interpretation of the raw data, let us know. Our posts aren’t perfect, so feel free to engage us in debate.

If you find yourself offended by something that you read, assume we’re being sarcastic. In fact, assume that even if you agree with something you read. No one really believes that Mr. Mets is gay, just as no one really believes that Jay Bruce is a first ballot Hall of Famer right now (well, most of us don’t believe that). We’re here to have fun and joke about baseball. If you’re upset by something we said, you probably didn’t get the joke. Don’t worry, you’ll get the next one.

Like I said, we’re a community and we encourage any and all comments. We would appreciate it if you didn’t threaten anyone or resort to excessive and unclever profanity. If your profanity is clever however, feel free to use a gratuitous amount. Especially if it makes your comment even funnier.
