I’m sorry for the sparse day around here today. I mean it’s so hard to get a lot done when you have a lot of work to do. I know I was busy with my real job and thus was only able to prepare 4 posts for you. Likewise, everyone else was working hard and they all combined for [checks today's posts] one interesting tidbit of sports information. Hmmm…. I guess I’m the only one who cares about you. Yes, despite my rough demeanor, I am the only who one who thinks enough of our readership to make sure you have a distraction from your boring work lives. Remember that when you’re out shopping for Christmas presents.
I’m not a big list guy so I won’t write a list. And frankly the end of the day is the worst part of the day for me. It’s when I’m most irritable because I’m not smoking and I try not to get my drink on until after the kids go to bed. I know, I’m a model fucking father. So 5pm-8:30ish are the worst parts of my day and I usually take it out on the family. Maybe I should tape it and send it to a shrink.
Anyway, it’s Thursday so of course there’s a ton of awesome shit on TV tonight. Let’s take a gander at what jokes we’ll be making tomorrow [Ed. Note--Cat in the wall, eh?]
Community (NBC): The debate all season has been which show has been the better of the new comedies: Community or Modern Family. MF took a bit of a lead early when Community had two week episodes in a row but since then I think Community has surged ahead. I really like this show and once again, for the record, I would leave my wife on Christmas morning for Alison Brie.
Parks and Recreation (NBC): It used to be that 30 Rock and The Office in the 2nd hour were the best parts of Thursday Night but no longer. Parks and Rec has been fantastic this year, I’m stunned. Well done, Ken Tremendous.
30 Rock: There hasn’t been a good episode all season.
The Office: I’ve grown tired of this show but can’t stop watching it. Maybe I’m bored.
Always Sunny (FX): Speaking of stringing together many good episodes this season has already blown last season out of the water. It seems Dennis and the Gang have gotten away from the meta humor and focused instead on writing really stories with real plots and the results have been fucking tremendous. Tonight: “Dennis tells the gang how he seduces women but none of them can get the hang of it.” Look at that, I already soiled my pants from laughter.
The League (FX): I’ll admit, I’ve enjoyed this show. Last week was by far the weakest episode of the season so far but it was still watchable and funny. Apparently Antonio Gates makes a cameo tonight which I think will probably be stupid. Nonetheless, I will watch it. I’m weak that way.

Now you’re speaking my language.
I also kind of like The League. I thought it’d be very dumb but so far it’s really not too bad at all.
I look forward to seeing Hef’s shrink tape on MLJVotD,btybLB
If anyone is cheap like me and doesnt want to pay for the Always Sunny Xmas Special, here it is.
Charlie deserves an Emmy for this episode alone.
/stigs’d?
Stigs’d.
Modern Family last night was titstacular. I don’t watch Community. So with that reasoning
Modern Family >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Community
/Any show that has Edward Norton on it and makes him the back up singer and bass player for Spandeu Ballet is Phenomenal
You’re not a fandau?
???
Hef, clearly he’s not a fandau.
Spandeu sounds even gayer than the original.
/didn’t know that was possible’d
Roman probably doesn’t like Orkestrul Manoovuhrs in the Darck, either.
