Pierce_tackleGood morrow my internet comrades. What a day this will be! As you are reading this, I am in the backseat of Wiggleman’s car (or the parking lot of Giants Stadium, or my seat, or passed out drunk on the way home depending when you get up and read this) drinking a Dunkin’ Donuts coffee and talking Wiggleman’s dad off the ledge about Antonio Pierce’s injury and the shitty three game tease he picked while 3 or 4 Amarettos deep at the Bar. This day is very important for Playoff implications. There are only 7 games left, everyone is playing and it is time to put up or shut up or some other cliche that means win the fucking game. My Giants have lost their last 4 games. Just as it looked like the season was falling over the cliff, the Cowfags, Iggles and Falcons all lost last week putting the Football Giants right back in the thick of things. Over the next 4 weeks they play all three of those teams, plus Denver in Denver on Thanksgiving night, and by the end of that stretch we will have a fairly good idea where they stand or still just be as confused as we are now.

Of course, two weeks of stories about the Giants being healthy for the first time all year and the other teams getting hurt now went to shit as Antonio Pierce felt a slight twinge in his neck that turned out to be a bulging disc. That fucks up the healthy angle. AP is the Giants defensive leader. It’s play caller. It’s heart and soul. Now AP is out. I am not happy about this but Monkeykong talked to me last night and reminded me that AP wasn’t the same player. He was a step slow and wasn’t covering anybody. I reminded him that Chase Blackburn would be replacing him. But Jonathon Goff is on this team and he is being “groomed” to replace him. If he is ever going to start now is the time. Goff is fast, a hard hitter and can cover a tight end over the middle. Or so I have seen in his limited action. Supposedly, he doesn’t see the field more because he hasn’t “grasped the Defense” Which means he is dumb as a rock and can’t call the D. Whatever, the AP injury is big but with Ross back in the secondary and the 7 man Front 4 rotation all healthy this team’s defense will need to win on it’s pass rush. As is designed.

So with all that said, if the Giants can’t beat a Falcon team that has played like shit on the road and is missing Michael Turned and possibly Jerious Norwood, well fuck em. Unless Dallas and Philly lose, then we are still in this thing!

Here is what happened last night:

bigmommadvdcoverIf I were to tell you that I watched a movie with Paul Giamatti and Terrence Howard in it, you would think I watched a pretty good movie right? Well, you would be wrong. My wife had never seen Big Momma’s House. Neither had I. On purpose. But my wife, who works in East New York, was told by someone that “She had to see it. That Movie’s Funny!” Really. The fucking thing is like 10 years old but she brought this home like she got the bootleg to some new movie. That meant I had to watch part of it. It sucks. Really, I think it sucks. I get it Martin Lawrence, you wore a fat suit. Well done.

Speaking of fat suits, just can Charlie Weis already. I watched the end of the UConn game. He isn’t good at what he does and when the network that only shows Notre Dame football games is talking about you like you should go, well, you should go. Either way, I found the ending funny. Fuck Notre Dame. Speaking in that tone, Ohio State fans, pipe down. If Tate Forcier didn’t suck all kinds of cock, you were losing that game. The scoreboard says you won, you did, but really Michigan was playing the better football from the second half of the second quarter on.  Dare I say this, but Michigan out physical’d tOSU. Enjoy the win, but that game showed me more of how much more fraudulent Ohio St is than Michigan. (Looking to see Spencer’s head explode. I think that did it.) Here are all the scores from Minor League Football Action.

In the National Basketball Association, The Knicks beat the Nets (eat it CRM!!!!!) as Nate Robinson tried to score on his own basket. AIDSland also beat Phagadelphia with LeBron dropping 32pts. Here are the rest of the scores.

In the NHL, not a big night for my Islanders in St. Louis. With that score and more go here.

I tried to imbed this, but any Giants fan worth his salt identifies with this fan. Go Giants!
