kennymotherfuckinbritt!!!

Arizona 17, Tennessee 20: Here are two things I never thought I’d see together in an NFL recap…Vince Young and 387 yards passing, and it’s not even because he’s a shitty QB.  It’s more a factor of Chris Johnson being the second coming of Barry Sanders and Tennessee not really having  to throw enough times to get to their QB to 387 yards, especially not in a relatively low scoring, very close win where the Titans weren’t behind.  9.0 YPA for VY, who’s looking like he’s finally getting used to the speed of the NFL.

This is not a good thing for the rest of the league.

Oh, and there are not enough words to describe how fucking ridiculous Chris Johnson is.  And I feel bad for not getting into VY’s 4th quarter drive that was just about as good as it gets, but just go read a recap of his NC win and put Titans in for Longhorns and there you go.  That TD to Kenny Britt was a helluva throw.  Uncle Rico my ass.

Indy 35, Houston 27: The Texans squandered a 17-0 lead and nobody, I repeat NOBODY, was surprised by the outcome, but it was kinda surprising how they got there.  Nobody is confusing Indy for a running team, yet here they are, on a day where they find themselves in a huge hole and Peyton wasn’t firing on all cylinders, finding great success on the ground and overcoming the inconsistency of the passing game.

In other news, Gary Kubiak’s seat is getting pretty fuckin’ hot.  He’s probably gone and will make a helluva offensive coordinator.

Cleveland 7, Cincy 16: This game was like watching two retards try and open a child proof medicine bottle.

List of scores of games that were so fucking awful, you had to be the biggest masochist in the world:

  • Miami 14, Buffalo 31
  • Seattle 27, St. Louis 17
  • Washington 24, Philly 27
  • KC 14, SD 43
  • Jacksonville 3, SF 20

Chicago 10, Minny 36: Wanna know the difference between Brett Favre and Jay Cutler?  Honestly, there isn’t much, but here it is…Brett Favre has MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better OL, WR’s and RB’s, but hey, TE is kind of a push.  If Cutler were in Minny, they’d be just as good, just as if Favre was in Chicago, he’d be throwing picks like it was going out of style.

That said, Cutler is stinking up the joint.

Pittsburgh 17, Baltimore 20: Unfortunately comet didn’t win, but at least we have a growing pile of evidence that Mike Tomlin is a terrible head coach.  How can I say this?  Easy…when you go into a game with your biggest rival and your QB’s head in an even bigger fog, what’s the best course of action?  Oh yea, give 1st team starting reps to the injured QB who you’re not going to play!  Great idea, Mike!

I didn’t watch any of this game, because I didn’t feel like getting a contact high from all the meth smoke in the stadium from both these teams’ terrible, disgusting fanbases.

Tampa Bay 17, Atlanta 20: With Matty Ice out, Chris Redman proved to be useful in leading the Dirty Birds to victory on a last minute TD pass to studly stud stud Roddy White while dressed in beautiful throwback uniforms that should replace that AFL shit they wear now.

But here’s the interesting thing…of all the QB’s drafted in the 1st round of this year’s draft, who would’ve thought that Josh Freeman would be the best of the bunch?  Now, I’m not saying that Stafford won’t turn it around (but I am saying that Sanchez sucks and will most certainly suck down the road too), but of the three, Freeman is by far and away the best.  I know it’s sacrilege to compare a black athlete to a white athlete, but he reminds me of a faster Big Ben with a better arm.  Freeman is a Abrams Supertank just waiting to be unleashed.  He’s going to be pretty good.

Carolina 6, New Jersey Jets 17: If you like watching good QB’s, this was not the game for you.  Jake Delhomme was TERRIBLE, and Sanchez wasn’t much better.  This game was straight up hideous in every single measurable way, including uniforms, both being nearly as ghastly as the performances on the field.

I wonder what Steve Smith did in his former life to deserve this.

Have a nice day everybody.
