Brian Cashman can go fuck himself. Really, a bullet in the head is not good enough for the guy. Why? Well, he blocked Chris Carter from getting through waivers. Who is Chris Carter? He is the power hitting 26 year old in Pawtucket that was one of the players to be named later in the Billy Wagner deal. Now, I am not a moron. I understand why Cashman did it. He was fucking with the Red Sox 40 man roster. They just got Wagner (the blocking of Carter does not affect the trade). They have Dice-K coming back and Paul Byrd is going to have to be on the 40 Man when they bring him up. After releasing Brad Penny, they have two empty spaces. So they can add Wagner and one of the other two. Not both. So as a matter of fucking with their rival, I fully accept what Cashman did. As a fan of a team that has nothing going for it but the addition of some minor leaguers, I think this was petty and fucked up.
I don’t expect Chris Carter to be a great player. He is a power hitting prospect that is 26 and still in AAA. Why? He can’t field. And when you are in the Red Sox organization, there is no way you are going to make the club if you can’t field. They are already spending way to much money on Big Papi’s steroid ridden ass. The Mets made the Wagner trade as a salary dump, which I think is down right retarded since he had more value staying and then offering him Arbitration. He would have at least netted a Comp pick and he will be Type A so possibly a first round pick and a comp pick. But the Mets are being cost conscious for certain reasons. Like getting taken for $700 million by Bernie Madoff and possibly having to sell the club. (I don’t think it will happen. Nothing in my life is that easy.) So my September depended on Chris Carter. Now he won’t be here until next spring.
There were two things that got me excited about September baseball at Citi Field. Josh Thole and Chris Carter. Brian Cashman took one of those away from me. Really. It feels like getting kicked in the gut after getting raped by the Gimp. It wasn’t necessary. I was already fucked. Now you are just fucking with me. In February, I won’t care about Chris Carter. If that guy is competing for a starting position on the Mets in 2010, the Mets are fucked in 2010. I just wanted to have the hope of something. Josh Thole can do some of that. He is a high average, on-base guy who is a decent fielding catcher. I might be nice with decent fielding. He is learning. But he might be part of the Catching platoon with Omir Santos next year. If Brian Schnieder is on this team in 2010, the Mets are fucked in 2010. So in conclusion, Brian Cashman is a fucking evil cocksuker and Omar Minaya sucks. I hope Chris Carter sends Cashman a love letter about ruining his big chance.

At first I thought he was complaining that his team didn’t get Chris Carter from Boston’s AAA team, but then I thought, “well that can’t be right because crying about that is fucking retarded.” So now I’m just confused.
