i dont care how you manipulate the stats he sucked as a qb.
except that, unlike bitches like roethlisberger and flacco, vick was the only NFL caliber player on those teams aside from his portly TE friend named after seaweed.
he was the sole reason those terrible falcons teams succeeded. he won in spite of bad defense, bad coaching, bad ownership and bad management.

I’ve always tried to argue that quarterback doesn’t directly translate into thrower back, or passer back. Vick was doing pretty damn good until they forced him into a 3 step drop “west coast offense”* Just because he got it done in a different way than most are used to doesn’t mean he sucked. He’d be perfect in a Shanny offense.
*My #1 hated term in football, just ahead of “SEC speed”
