Yes, I have a mancrush on Jay Cutler.

Yes, I think the Bears are FOOLS for trading for him.

This isn’t an indictment on Cutler whatsoever, it’s an indictment on the shitty ass Bears offense that has no business putting a diamond in the middle of that shit pile.  QB’s are the most dependent players on the field at all times, and without ANY help, either from personnel or the coaching staff (seriously, Ron Turner sucks, why is he employed?), Cutler has no chance at all to succeed, no matter his outrageous talent.

The Bears’ OL SUCKS, Orlando Pace or not.  Their WR corps SUCKS, with MATT FUCKING FORTE being their leading pass catcher and the only other threat is non-blocking TE Greg Olsen and one-trick-pony Devin Hester.  They have a decent rushing attack with Forte, but what good is that without any quality targets?

“But they’ll get targets with their draft picks!!”

You mean the ones they gave away to Denver?

This is different.  If the Jets (gay), Redskins or Vikings make this move, I love it, even if it involves two firsts.  See, those teams already have a little offensive talent around them and at least SOMETHING for Cutler to make happen with.  Plus, those teams are in contention for something more than just a first round exit, which is what the Bears are looking at even if they do win the shitty NFC North.

The Bears?  No, they don’t have that.  They have nothing.

Now, I’m not a fan of this trade from Denver’s perspective either.  Franchise QB’s, something Cutler was unquestionably in my opinion, don’t grow on trees.  There’s not a franchise QB in this draft outside of Matt Stafford, and I really doubt he’ll fall.  So rumor has it that Denver is going to package some shit, blah blah blah, for Mark Sanchez, the pussy armed fag boy from Souther Cal who has a WHOPPING 16 starts to his name.

Either that or get some defensive help…except for the fact that this draft sucks and you’re stuck with either an undersized OLB for a 3-4, which is what Denver will be switching to.  That’s fine and dandy except that every 3-4 OLB in this draft has about a million question marks and none look like the sure things DeMarcus Ware and Shawne Merriman were.

Tho, the funny thing is, Kyle Orton will probably RAWK in McDaniel’s “system,” so they got that going for them.

But back to the Bears.

Why would you give up that much when you have so many other holes to fill on that side of the ball?  Yes, QB is a need, but what good is a stud QB when it’ll take at least two years to get anyone decent around him, and that’s assuming you nail your remaining picks.  This is a losing proposition for the Bears.  The Bears just stuffed a potato in the barrel of their cannon.

But are you surprised?  This is one of the shittiest run organizations in the NFL.  There’s no plan for the future, no system where they can find immediately, guys who can contribute.  They have a shitty coach, a shitty GM and shitty ownership, and it sucks because I really like the Bears, their fans and Soldier Field.  I WANT the Bears to be good.

However, this trade won’t pay off anytime soon.
