Check out this video of Corrine Brown, a Democratic member of the House of Representatives from the State of Florida. She’s a Gator Alum and obviously a huge Florida Gator football fan.
A lot of dumb shit has probably been spoken in that room, but this takes the cake. This Representative has a degree in Sociology and a Master’s in Education. The only thing this lady should be teaching anyone is how to insert your foot directly in your mouth. This lady had no business speaking about football in front of anyone. She actually has no business speaking in front of everyone. Anytime you speak the phrase “I want to gradulate the University of Florida,” just put the mic down. I know public speaking isn’t easy for everyone, but a woman in her position ought to be able to give a speech and not embarass herself and anyone associated with her.
I don’t know what my favorite line is. They’re all too funny. “1,2,3,4,5, (inaudible) the Gators don’t take no jive” might be it though because of the possible racial overtones. Check out these other epic failures who also graduated from the University of Florida, Emmitt and Joakim (twice). Go Gator!
