dunnnationalsIt’s Saturday and the weather seems great everywhere in the country right now so we’ve got a full slate of games to look forward to today. Already underway:

  • Oakland jumped out to a 1-0 lead over the Blue Jays in the first inning and that’s where the score sits in the 2nd. I really need the BJ’s to start losing if the Red Sox are going to be in first place by Friday (Hef Predicition!) so this is a good start. Go A’s.
  • The Nats have jumped out to a 5-0 lead on the Marlins, plating all of those runs in the bottom of the first.  Looks like Florida won’t be getting a 10 game lead by the end of April after all.
  • Pittsburgh holds a 1-0 lead over the mighty, mighty Braves.  I wonder how many Steelers fans will hop on the Pirates bandwagon if/when the Pirates actually become good again.  “The Pirates are blue collar and represent the fine city of Pittsburgh!”
  • The Mets are giving Yovani Gallardo trouble in the first, with two men on and only one out.
