Katy PerryAnd so concludes a greater day than Jonas Salk could have even envisioned when he invented the keyboard and LCD monitor. Yours truly started the day with a discussion on how the West >* East, if you’re talking about playoff teams. I’ll agree with NickP that if you are talking about non-playoff teams, East > West. Then Happy gave us a quick preview of the White Sox, 2009 edition. Later, Fetch gave us a quick MLB mock draft, and CRM told us about how he got involved in Twitter. Happy then shared with us a Cubs preview and Roman gave us some break’n news that maybe one or two of you hadn’t heard yet.

All in all, it was a pretty great day, probably one of the top 100 days in the last 1 or 2 thousand years. Go ahead and give yourself a hug, because without you, our fine and faithful readership, we would be nothing.

What’s on tonight? Taking a quick glance at the listings, I don’t see much out there, but I’ll give it a shot anyway (all times Central):

Fetch’s Pick, Kansas at Missouri, NCAAB, 8:00, ESPN: Fetch’s favorite team (since March) takes on the Tigers in what I must assume is a big rivalry or something. Normally, I would insert a snide remark here about Texas beating Kansas when they play, but even I don’t believe that can happen at this point. True story time: I see ex-Missouri coach Quin Snyder about once a month when I go to a D-League game. He’s the current coach of the Austin Toros.

Actually, I really did look at the TV listings and there is jack shit on. Go ahead and catch up on all the stuff in your DVR, or better yet, feel free to spend some time with your loved ones. I might be in and out, or not.
