carney-feaglesWell folks, I have to say today was the most stupendous Sunday and in fact day in the history of everything . Really, I can’t say more so I won’t. I am gearing up for the most important game of the year. I am sure you are too. The pageantry of the Pro Bowl knows no equal. The palm trees, the Polynesian look of the people, the surefire offense and the relaxed defense that allows football to be played the way God intended. With high scoring and great athleticism by the receivers, running backs, quarterbacks and tight ends. Truthfully, the fact that the Pro Bowl defensive players act as glorified pylons is a plus that the NFL needs to explore next season to garner more interest in the sport. With the unfortunate fall of the Arena League, there is a void in high scoring, balls out offense than needs to be filled. Well, tonight it is filled by golly!

I look forward to the Pro Bowl performances of Jeff Feagles and John Carney. I don’t know if you know this, but they are in their 40’s! Really, it’s true. I don’t know if it will get mentioned during the broadcast so keep it in mind while you watch a couple of Hall of Fame caliber players ply their trade. Really, I am getting the Hot Cocoa ready, getting Little RamonaWarHelmet napped up and settling in for what should be a wonderful evening. It is a bit sad since this is the last Sunday of the NFL season but with pitchers and catchers arriving in 7 days (or 6 depending on your team) the wait for meaningful sports to be played is only a short week away. If, for some reason, you are not watching God’s Game, I am guessing you are either a terrorist or a communist or just a pedophile of some sort. If you are one of those things, feel free to drop by and discuss these non meaningful sporting match-ups:

Knicks/Blazers

Jazz/Warriors

Timberwolves/Hornets

Kings/Thunder

Suns/Pistons

Predators/Stars

Washington/Stanford
