My fantasy team may be officially mucked worse than the 3 weeks I took off from updating my lineup. Big Al was averaging 23 points, 11 boards and 1.7 blocks a game. The one bright spot for the Timberwolves… Oh, who am I kidding? There’s nothing good about this. Kevin Love will get some more burn, but that’s about it.
Jefferson came down on it awkwardly trying to block a shot at the end of a Wolves’ loss last night.
He later said he heard a “pop” in the knee. He also said it didn’t feel as bad after the game as when he suffered a mildly sprained medial collateral ligament before training camp started last fall.
Here’s to good surgery and a quick recovery for one of the best young big men in the Association.
