Dirk Nowitzki, who hit yet another game winner today. Ho hum, ho hum.

Some NBA action already happened today:

Mavericks 95, Sixers 93: Being the wily veterans that they are, Dallas let Philly make a 12-0 run in the last two minutes of the game, so that MVP, All-star and Olympian Dirk Nowitzki make a buzzer beater to win the game. Louis Williams had 25 points for the Sixers. He’s from Georgia.

Spurs 86, Bobcats 84: Raymond Felton tried to win the game at the end, but a foul on Manu Giblowme was not called. I’m not sure if His Airness was at the game, because I was watching on a small TV at work.

Bulls 98, Knicks 102: The team that dominated LeBron’s present team last week pulled up lame today against LeBron’s future team. Vinny Del Negro is a handsome man. The Bulls are 6 games under .500 and are only 1.5 games out of a playoff spot in the lEastern conference.

Nuggets 113, Rockets 115: Yao scored 31 to help the Rockets complete the Texas sweep.

Other games finished or are going on or will take place.

On the tube tonight:

Kobe vs. LeBron, 9:30 CST, TNT: I think I might take a nap tonight so I can stay up for this one. Ever since Kobe showed James how to be a complete ballplayer in Beijing, LeBron has been on a tear this season. Sure, the Cavs only have one road win against a team with a winning record, but there is still a lot of the season left. Maybe we’ll see LBJ fake another injury like he did against the Hornets, so his whole team can huddle around him in the middle of the court (Didn’t Amare get suspended for leaving the bench? Why no penalties against the Cavs?)

Anyway, enjoy Olivia Munn.
