So ends probably the most awesome day in the history of Major League Jerk. I presented a clear NFL playoff picture and then (with heavy heart) I had to take a little luster off of King James and his illegal tactics. Hef helped us figure out that actually watching basketball games > focusing on binary and spreadsheets and gave us a just-in-time Spring Training preview. Intern CRM (kind of) reviewed 2008, and (sort of) gave us a preview of 2009 and finally sportsgal told us all about the Winter Classic.
As for tonight, figure out what you want to watch your own damn self. I’ll be watching the Fiesta Bowl (FOX, 7:00 CST) and hoping that the Texas Longhorns don’t shit the bed against their slower, less-talented, FCS-worthy foe. Hopefully the worst damn coach in all the land will be his usual spotlight game self.
Fetch Edit: Twins Owner Carl Pohlad died today at 93 years of age. While it’s sad to see someone so associated with your team die, it’s also going to be nice to have an owner who will spend a legitimate amount of money. See you in the world series bitches.
