Remember when I wrote this little diddy a few weeks ago? Well, apparently Walt does not read this blog, because he went against all logic and signed Willy Taveras to a 2 year deal. No financial details yet, so I’m holding back (a very little bit of ) hope that it’s a cheap deal. Either way, he’ll be our leadoff hitter and everyday center fielder…and we’ll lose 84 games. Go Reds!
Onto things less depressing:

The most interesting game of tonight’s slate has to be Jazz/Rockets. This will be a rematch of last year’s first round playoff battle that went 7 games. The Jazz won the clincher on the road when T-Mac & Co. choke-frauded away an easy W at home.
