Hornets 99, Raptors 91: CursedCleveland’s favorite player, David “Tim Duncan wishes he were this good” West, went off for 29 points and 9 rebounds and Chris Paul kinda sorta helped out with 12 assists. CRM fave James Posey came off the bench for 20 points, as he starts to get ready for yet another beastmode playoffs. Chris Bosh had 25 points in the loss.
Heat 86, Grizzlies 102: O.J. Mayo had 28 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists as he led the Grizz to their 4th straight win. I think we’re actually going to have an interesting Rookie of the Year race between him and Greg Oden Derrick Rose. Dwyaywyanwe Wade had 17 points for the losers. Thanks for nothing, asshole. Unfortunately, the usually reliable City of Champs blog didn’t have a summary of this game – I believe Cortes had a phonics final to study for. If anyone was counting, that was two wins by Bestern Conference teams over lEastern conference teams.
Thunderrific 104, Spurs 109: San Antonio is really on roll these last couple of weeks. When I submitted my NBA power rankings to NickP for an NBA post he was going to do a month ago, I even put the Spurs higher than the Mavs. It hurt my stomach to do that, but I’m nothing if not biased. The kid (he’s only 20) that NickP loves to hate, Kevin Durant, had 28 points and 13 rebounds. He may be Clown’s fantasy beast, but he’s still a 6′9″ piece of poo, right NickP?
Twolves 86, Lakers 98: Yawn, the Lakers took care of business. Kobe had 26 points, but more importantly went 9-24 from the floor so that Lamar Odom could get double figures in rebounds (he had 10). This is important because Odom is playing in an contract year, and the more rebounds he has, the higher his market value will be. Man, that Kobe is such a great teammate. You might even say he’s Golden.

I submitted the Thunder above the Mavs and didn’t have a single problem with it. The Mavs suck.
I got some honey for her.
Clown: I’ve been pleasantly surprised with KD the last two weeks. Maybe he finally “gets it.” I drafted him in the 4th round in a different league thinking this might be the year and couldn’t have been more disappointed in him.
He’s shooting 50% from 3 this year. Insane. If only he’d learn to share…
The MTV video archive is fucking sweet tits. Way better than Youtube or dailymotion. Expect more bad ass jammz coming your way.
Clown, at parties do you immediately run over and take over the DJing duties?
In all fairness, KD has no one to give the ball to.
/Right? I haven’t watched a game of theirs.
I hate that argument, though. Lebron has had dogshit shooters around him for years (until this year) and always distributed the F out of it.
You’re either a playmaker or not. I think KD is not.
Took me a whole 7 comments to mention LBJ. I’m making progress.
KD is averaging 1.9 assists per game. I don’t even know how that’s possible.
That’s more than he averaged at Texas. I think he was spoiled by having Augustin on the same team.
KD is going to be hearing those Yinka Dare comparisons his entire career so he better learn to live with it.
