jj-putzGOOD MORNING!!!!!!!!! I am in a very chipper mood. As of my sleepy time, the Mets were getting physicals in a huge trade involving the Mariners and the Indians that would put Franklin Gutierrez in Seattle, Joe Smith in Cleveland and Aaron Heilman out of my life.  Spencer you will like Joe Smith. Good reliever coming into his own. Don’t pitch him against lefties. For all the Omar doubters out there, Fuck and You. He fixed the pen. He did it. He got K-Rod and J.J. Putz. That is sick. Putz is under Met control through 2010. I love this move. He he had a rough year last year but the Mariners moved him around to get Brandon Morrow ready to replace him. He is going to have a job in New York. Get the ball to K-Rod.

Unless the Yankees fulfill their Manifest Destiny and sign Burnett and Lowe and move Joba back to the bullpen, the Mets will have the best 8-9 in baseball. This takes the pressure off Johan. This takes the pressure off of the other bullpen guys and with this move it is getting rid of the core of a bullpen with two late season collapses under it’s belt. This allows the Mets to go out and get a starter that may be only a 6 inning pitcher. This allows them to nurse Niese and Pelfrey along and not give them too many innings. This gives the fans and everyday players a breath of fresh air. No more slumped shoulders as Heilman enters the game. No more merciless booing. It lightens up the mood. This also means Jerry Manual will not have to make 18 pitching changes and prolong the game 3 hours longer than it needs to be. I don’t know if you can tell but I am pumped. I liked the K-Rod move. It was important. I love this move. It justified the K-Rod move and gets rid of the rotten core of the bullpen. Well done Omar. On to last night’s scores:

The 2010 LeBron Sweepstakes Invitational Knicks 121 Nets 109 - For the Knicks, Al Harrington and Wilson Chandler did their best to show why they would be good teammates for LeGlobal with Harrington having 39pts and 13 rebounds and Chandler adding 24 and 9. For the Nets, Devin Harris showed why he could be the true point guard LeBron needs by putting up 32 with 7 dimes. Devin Harris was informed the move to Brooklyn may not happen which led him running out of the room crying because all of this is for nothing.

Cavs 101 Sixers 93 – LeBron kept one eye on the TV as he put up 29 pts.  LeBron really is special. I can see why you Clevelanders love him so. Mo Williams kept yelling, “Look at Me LeBron! I’m Good too!” as he put up  27pts. LeBron barely noticed.

Nothing else really matters to me. Here are other scores which includes Lakers/Suns which used to be a good game.

And for Sportsgal, men skating in circles swinging their sticks.
