“I’m from there, so home is home for me,” James said. “And that’s the way I was putting it at that time. No matter where you go or if you ever move somewhere else, it doesn’t matter. Home is always going to be home. And that was what I was basically letting them know.”

This prophetic statement was made by the LeGlobal Icon last night in New Jersey. Now why did he say this?

Last month, LeBron James stood at a voter registration rally in downtown Cleveland and shouted to the top of Terminal Tower: “I love you, Cleveland. I love Ohio and I’m not going anywhere.”

Now if you read the first statement, you would think he was referring to some long ago statement. He was referring to last month. I guess a lot has happened in the last four weeks. We have a new President. The Economy hit the shits. Cleveland got cold and LeBron remembered cold Cleveland blows asshole. With every team in basketball clearing cap space for 2010 and the promise of riches beyond his wildest dreams with two of them, I am sure LeBron needs to think about those big tax increases during these trying times. FYI, LeBron and his current team play next Tuesday at the Garden. I am sure Knick fans will let him know how we feel about his carpetbagging.
