Dunnie!  The man, the myth, the legend silenced his critics and doubters with a walk off double (man on 1st, less than two outs).  Truly he must be a clutch hitter because I just saw him deliver.  All of his critics ever are wrong and I am right because I had a first hand experience.  Personal anecdotes trump statistics regardless of the size of the sample.

In other news, the Dbacks fly to Los Angeles to play their final set against the Doyers.  Now, normally I would be excited about the Snakes having their pitchers lineup in the following order: Haren, Webb, Johnson.  But the last few outings have been rough on the best pitching staff in all of baseball.

In his last three starts, Dan Haren has given up 12 ERs on 30 hits in 19 innings of work.

In his last two starts, Brandon Webb has given up 12 ERs on 17 hits (while walking six) in 8 innings of work.

And Randy Johnson is coming off a start in which he gave up 4 home runs.  Yes, these are all anomolies (it’s a small sample size kind of day) but it leaves me less confident in the Snakes as I have in the past.  When Webby and Haren started I knew the game would at least be competitive.  Now, I’m a little concerned and completely unsure what to expect.
