David Eckstein Isn’t Clutch Afterall
That little bastard’s heart was supposed to fill the clubhouse with winning and grit. Instead, he turned this team into a steaming pile of garbage. Consider:
Since joining the team, the Snakes are 3-10. They went from having a 3.5 game lead over the Dodgers to looking up at 4.5 game deficit. Eckstein himself is hitting .176 (6-34) and only has an OBP of .256 (OPS of .433!). For the traditionalists, he he’s only scored 2 runs and has a mere 3 RBI. David Eckstein sucks.
Yes, we’re looking at a small sample size, and I hate being right all the time (especially when it comes at my own expense), but this little bastard needs to lose whatever reputation he has “earned” for being Gritty McHustle and he needs to lose it now before he does more damage.
Thank god the Red Sox aren’t dumb enough to sign this turd.
