Look at that form. Maybe the Mets could use him in the bullpen.
Eddie Vedder, the wild, red wine chugging frontman of Pearl Jam, agrees with most people in that people from Boston are the suck. Vedder, who has never been one to swallow his words said during a concert in NYC on Monday, Vedder stated “We left all the assholes behind in Boston,” where the tour started last Friday. No word yet on what Eddie’s good friend Peter Gammons (see Track 7) thinks about this.
I happen to love Pearl Jam and Eddie. I think his “don’t give a shit who I offend” attitude is great. I’ve seen PJ in concert a few times, and the shows are always intense and enjoyable. But this is rather hypocritical on his part. Eddie Vedder himself is a Cubs fan. He has sung the “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” at Wrigley numerous times, and even thrown out the first pitch there. I know thought Vedder is not from Chicago, but apparently he is. Regardless, everyone knows he is a Cubs fan. Cubs fans calling anyone assholes is a little bit like if Roman made fun of someone for being old. It probably just shouldn’t happen.

Pearl Jam just moved up my top 10 list.
Pearl Jam sucks!
[double-checking to see if I have any of their music, which I do]
Yeah, Pearl Jam is pretty sweet.

Um Stigs? Eddie grew up in Evanston, IL.
sportsgal, i’m going to need proof in the form of a link.
Eddie Vedder is a hack singer.

Ha ha ha!
i thought he grew up in Cali. but apparently he moved there when he was 12.
The nomadic existence of Eddie Vedder intrigues me…I am going to find my own intern to give me 2000 words on it…
Roman, you’re a PJ fan?
Yes, and then he moved back to Chicago the last two years of high school.
that means he grew up in Cali. wherever you spend your teen years, that’s where you grow up.
/from someone who grew up a teen in Michigan, but lived in jersey before that.
fuck…i need to refresh next time. SG just screwed that up for me.
That’s what you get, Sparty!! I’m sending Jerry Angelo over to tea bag you for your mistake.

You posted on here? I’m lucky to read anything until I get home tonight.
Pearl Jam is kick ass.
Mookie Blaylock > Pearl Jam
Yeah, he hates Boston. That’s why there is video on YouTube of him playing catch with Theo Epstein at Fenway. Eddie Vedder is a totally fickle, mush-headed has-been. Since his music “career” is dead. All he can do is come around to ballparks and yodel “Take Me Out to the Ball Game”. See ya at the State Fair, Mini Pearl,
Ed loves Boston…he just doesn’t like drunk yelling assholes…from any state!
Fuck Eddie Vedder.
