Look at that form. Maybe the Mets could use him in the bullpen.

Eddie Vedder, the wild, red wine chugging frontman of Pearl Jam, agrees with most people in that people from Boston are the suck.  Vedder, who has never been one to swallow his words said during a concert in NYC on Monday, Vedder stated “We left all the assholes behind in Boston,” where the tour started last Friday.  No word yet on what Eddie’s good friend Peter Gammons (see Track 7) thinks about this.

I happen to love Pearl Jam and Eddie.  I think his “don’t give a shit who I offend” attitude is great.  I’ve seen PJ in concert a few times, and the shows are always intense and enjoyable.  But this is rather hypocritical on his part.  Eddie Vedder himself is a Cubs fan.  He has sung the “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” at Wrigley numerous times, and even thrown out the first pitch there.  I know thought Vedder is not from Chicago, but apparently he is.  Regardless, everyone knows he is a Cubs fan.  Cubs fans calling anyone assholes is a little bit like if Roman made fun of someone for being old.  It probably just shouldn’t happen.
