I’m mostly fucking with you, but I’m not altogether sure I can condone fanhood jumping like that. If you staked your allegience as a kid, you can’t jump ship later, no matter how convenient (I’ve lived outside St. Louis now for longer than I lived there, but because my first 15 years were there, they will always be my team).

@Roarke. In Roman’s defense he didn’t know my prior allegences. Plus in ‘87 I was only 10 years old, but still, the Twins had the great Kirby Puckett, I had no choice.

@gurucane. I see what you are talking about as far as protection, especially with Ludwick. I don’t really consider Ankiel all that much protection because he is still pretty sketchy around the plate and will swing at about anything. He is starting to come around a bit though.
